FAQ

  • Why note to myself?
    Its all about the glimmers, little pocket of happiness in your day. We all have ups and downs and I make little notes to you, on everyday items that give little moments of joy.
  • Where have I seen you before?
    I have been running my product business Just Toppers for 14 years, over there I make personalised keepsakes. This is really an extension of that, but I felt it needed its own platform to bring the whole feeling of it across.
  • Where does the wood come from?
    All the wood is sustainably sourced direct from a wood merchant here in the UK. All the wood is FSC® Certified. I buy in large batches, so I only expect to order approximately twice a year to keep down the carbon footprint on delivery.
  • What is the leather you use?
    I use a paper leather which is vegan friendly and an ethical alternative to traditional leather.
  • What is the mirror made from?
    The mirror is acrylic, making it strong and light weight. Currently I am not able to source recycled acrylic for the mirror, but this is something I hope to be able to do in the future.
  • Why does the colour differ from the screen!
    I do my best to photograph to show the colour as accurately as possible but all monitors and phones display colour differently so there my be some slight differences, which are out of my control.
  • How can I contact you?

  • I haven’t received my order yet, where is it?
    If your order has not been received by the estimated delivery date, please get in touch. I will always do my best to help you with this. Post can be delayed at busy times of the year so sometimes its worth waiting a couple of extra days and checking with a neighbour in case it’s been left with them. But please contact me if you have any concerns regarding delivery.
  • What are your delivery options?
    All orders are sent from my studio in Essex within 2 working days. Standard Delivery is FREE Items are sent via Royal Mail 2nd class post. This takes 2-3 working days to arrive this service is not tracked. Tracked Delivery - £3.95 Items are sent via Royal Mail 24 tracked. This takes 1-2 working days to arrive and is a fully tracked service to give peace of mind and is our recommended option. Tracked orders over £30 postage will be FREE Express Delivery - £8 Items are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery. Ordered before 12pm for same day dispatch.
  • Do you ship overseas?
    Yes, I do. I currently only offer delivery to America and Australia outside of the UK but I do hope to extend this service at some point. All items are sent via Royal Mail international Track service with takes approximately 5-7 working days to arrive. Cost for US and Australia - £10
  • Can I return my product?
    If you have any issues with your purchase, please contact me through the contact page and quote your order number. I can accept returns or exchanges on stock items. Unfortunately, I am not able to refund or exchange personalised or custom-made items. Please note that due to their unique nature custom orders are only refundable if there is a fault with the item. Goods must be returned at your own cost within 14 days of contacting to allow us to proceed the refund. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds if more than 14 days have passed since placing your order. I recommend returning your item using a recorded delivery service as items remain your responsibility until we receive them and we are not responsible for any items that are lost or damaged in transit.   • What if it’s damaged or faulty?
    I personally check each item very carefully before dispatching so there should be no problem. But if your item is damaged in transit or you have any other issues, please let me know and I will endeavour to help further.
